The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr Gjorge Ivanov decorated the President of the Czech Republic, Mr Milosh Zeman with Order 8 September.

The President was decorated for outstanding contributions to the development and strengthening of friendly relations and peaceful equitable cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Czech Republic, as well as promoting and strengthening the international position and reputation of the Republic of Macedonia.

The Order 8 September is awarded to individuals and organizations for outstanding contribution to the development and strengthening of friendly relations and peaceful cooperation with other nations. For contribution to the development and promotion of international relations and for outstanding merit and deeds in the field of security and defense of the country.
